Halloween Parade on October 27, 2024

This Sunday, students are welcome to dress up in their costumes during class to celebrate Halloween!  During class time they’ll have the opportunity to visit other classrooms, where they can show off their costumes and collect treats (like candy or chips) from the teachers, just like a fun trick-or-treat.

Please note the following costume guidelines to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone:

• No Masks: Costumes should not include masks, as they can obstruct vision and pose safety concerns.

• No Weapons: Costumes should not include items resembling weapons.

• Appropriate Costumes: Costumes should be respectful, avoiding stereotypes, and should not create any barriers to school attendance.

We look forward to seeing everyone’s creativity while keeping these guidelines in mind!

HCLS Chinese New Year Banquet Date: February 3, 2024 at 6:00 PM 

HCLS will be hosting a Chinese New Year banquet at the Mandarin Restaurant on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024. Cocktails are served at 6 pm and the banquet starts at 6:30pm. 

Tickets will be $35 per adult for members and $45 per adult for non-members. Children's tickets will be $12 per child. Please note, children will be seated at the children's table. If you would like your child to be seated next to you, please purchase an adult ticket for them. 

If you are able to purchase 10 adult tickets (equal to one banquet table), not only will you be seated with your family and friends, HCLS will also cover the cost of your ticket. 

Finally, with health and safety in mind, there will be a 20 table limit. We encourage you to purchase your tickets as early as possible. Please contact Gwen at 306-249-1018 or Eleanor at 306-242-4829 for ticket purchases. For more information, see attached pdf.

Acrobatic Troupe Date: March 24, 2023 at 7:00 PM 

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of entertainment at The Castle Theatre! On Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 7 p.m. to 8:40 p.m., we're bringing you a show that's sure to delight audiences of all ages.

Located at the Aden Bowman school on 1904 Clarence Ave. S, The Castle Theatre is the perfect venue for a night of fun and excitement. And the best part is that admission is completely free, though donations are kindly accepted so the audience will have the opportunity to show their appreciation for the amazing artists who make it all possible.

Our talented performers will take the stage and introduce you to a world of wonder and excitement. With breathtaking acts that will leave you on the edge of your seat, this is an event that you won't want to miss.
